C'River Community Lauds Governor Otu For Appointing Their Son, Odey Into The State Internal Revenue Board

The leaders and people of Yala Nkum Ward in Ikom Local Government Area have lauded His Excellency, Senator Prince Bassey Otu, Governor of Cross River State, and his amiable wife, Her Excellency, Mrs. Eyoanwan Edet Otu, for  appointing their son, Dr. Ndoma Odey, as a Director in the Cross River State Internal Revenue Board.

In a statement signed by Osuole Patrick Ofuka, Clan Head of Yala Nkum Clan, the ward leaders and people expressed their deepest appreciation to the Governor for his trust and confidence in Dr. Ndoma Odey, who they described as a "distinguished son" of the ward. They acknowledged the Governor's wisdom in recognizing Dr. Ndoma Odey's vast experience and expertise in the financial sector, which they believe will be a valuable asset to the state.

The statement read in part: "We are grateful for the opportunity given to our son to serve the state in this capacity. We promise that he will justify the trust reposed in him by working tirelessly to contribute to the growth and progress of Cross River State. His appointment is a testament to the Governor's commitment to excellence and his determination to move the state forward."

The ward leaders and people also extended their gratitude to former Senate Leader, Sen. Victor Ndoma-Egba, Sen. Florence Ita-Giwa, and other distinguished leaders who supported and facilitated the appointment. They praised their contributions to Dr. Ndoma Odey's success and thanked them for their role in shaping his career.
