APC, PDP, OTHERS BUY VOTES FROM EKITI ELECTION

     By Eriacy Confidence       Coneri Magazine News reaching our desk confirmed that the battle for who becomes the driver of Ekiti State has taken a different dimension as both the  People's Democratic Party(PDP) led by Governor Fayose and the All Progressive Congress( APC) rumored to be headed by the president Muhammadu Buhari entice voters with plenty money and food items. According to the  source, the PDP use the Government house as their camp while APC use a popular Hotel in Ado Ekiti the state capital. The electorates bring their PVC and then collect money from the parties. The amount according to sources ranges from #4000 to #5000. But  it is worrisome that the Ekiti people, like the biblical Esau have decided to mortgage their future and the future of their children for a token of money. If this is true then one will quickly blame the poverty.

READ BUHARI'S PLANS FOR EKITI ELECTION TOMORROW

NUPENG COMMENCES A THREE DAY WARNING STRIKE

                             By Eriacy Confidence Sources revealed that the Nigerian Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG), commenced a three-day nationwide warning strike earlier today  over unresolved labour issues with multinationals operating in the oil and gas industry. According to reliable sources, NUPENG is undergoing strike the second time over the same issue hoping the relevant authorities will quickly resolve the issue for them to return to work. The strike has already begun to affect the economy of the country as the scarcity of fuel looms. One of the members, Chinedu Tom told  Coneri Magazine that over time the authorities had failed and that they will stop at nothing to ensure their outstanding issues are resolved.

LEAVE IKOM! THE PEOPLE OF IKOM TELL PHCN

 The people of Ikom,Cross River State have ordered the staff of Power Holding Company Of Nigeria(PHCN) to leave their land. One of the  residents of  Ikom, Mr Emmanuel Oddi, a native of Abi LGA told  Coneri Magazine that PHCN has failed  woefly in its responsibility to power the town.
