2023 Presidency: Group Samples 11 Qualified Persons from South-East. NAN  By kayode olaitan  The Igbo for President Solidarity Group (IPSC), a political association, has suggested no fewer than eleven eminent politicians from the south-eastern states that are qualified to be presented as presidential candidates in 2023 general elections. The president of the association, Dr. Olukayode Oshiariyo, announced the names after the meeting of the congress in Abuja on Friday, observing that time had come for the country to produce a president from among the Igbo. “IPSC has come to the conclusion that in 2023, a man or woman of Igbo extraction will become the president of Nigeria. “IPSC will engage in consultations across the six geo-political zones, visitation to Emirs, Obas, Eze, Obi and chiefs, to discuss and examine the characters and integrity of the eleven persons suggested,’’ he said. Schools and Tertiary institutions have been on lockdown from the month of March, this is due to the ongoing pandemic that has claimed the lives of many people. COVID-19: Lecturers say universities are ready to resume The National Coordinator, Congress of University Academics (CONUA), Dr ‘Niyi Sunmonu, on Saturday said its members were ready to resume work. Goodbye To Mini And Micro SIM Cards As eSIM Technology Hits The Shores Of West Africa. Subscriber Identity Module (SIM or simply "Chip") which is the basis for the operation of mobile phones, especially phone calls has experienced quite a lot of evolutions over the years. However, from the year 1991 to 2012, these evolutions were mostly in the areas of physical size and data holding capacity. Thus, the primitive look of a SIM card remained the same over these long years of evolution. Let's take a look at the various sizes, and corresponding names of SIM cards been used in the last few years. The first SIM card module launched in 1991 was a full-sized one. By full size, I meant that it was exactly the same size and nature as today's bank cards (ATM Credit or Debit cards). Fiscal Responsibility Commission partners Ministry of International Development Cooperation on Public Financial Management* The Fiscal Responsibility Commission (FRC) has paid a working visit to the Ministry of International Development Cooperation to strengthen its partnership and collaboration on the role of the FRC Law as regards Public Financial Management and to assist in the execution of the law across the MDAs in the state. The delegation on the visit was led by the Chairman of FRC in Cross River State, Hon. Moses Oko. Speaking on the law, Mr. Otu, Otu-Ita, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Fiscal Responsibility Commission, stated that the law has four terminal guidelines as follows: Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) which is a 3 year pan where the annual budget is derived. In relation to the budget, the law specifies that the budget preparation must meet the timelines of 30th September 2020. The 3rd aspect of the law is on borrowing. This will guide the state on setting a borrowing ceiling to enable state not to over shoot its borrowing limit, while the 4th is on how all the public finances are expended. Mr. Otu-Ita said that, there is a need to institutionalize the Fiscal Responsibility Law in the state as this, will not only help in the transparency and accountability of public financial management, but could also help in the relief of the state debt profile. He also added that the Fiscal Responsibility Commission at the Federal level could provide technical support to MDAs and back users of the State Integrated Financial Management Information System (SIFMIS). In her response, the Commissioner, Dr. Mrs. Inyang Asibong intimated the SSA that the State was already implementing SIFMIS and that the 18 LGAs are currently being trained on SIFMIS under the State and Local Governance Reform Project.

See What A Student Found In His Room After Resuming Back To School Because of the corona virus pandemic across the country, government instructed all Nigerian schools and colleges to be closed until further notice and all the students are instructed to stay at home. The majority of the students don't go home with their luggage.
