2023 Presidency: Group Samples 11 Qualified Persons from South-East. NAN  By kayode olaitan  The Igbo for President Solidarity Group (IPSC), a political association, has suggested no fewer than eleven eminent politicians from the south-eastern states that are qualified to be presented as presidential candidates in 2023 general elections. The president of the association, Dr. Olukayode Oshiariyo, announced the names after the meeting of the congress in Abuja on Friday, observing that time had come for the country to produce a president from among the Igbo. “IPSC has come to the conclusion that in 2023, a man or woman of Igbo extraction will become the president of Nigeria. “IPSC will engage in consultations across the six geo-political zones, visitation to Emirs, Obas, Eze, Obi and chiefs, to discuss and examine the characters and integrity of the eleven persons suggested,’’ he said. Schools and Tertiary institutions have been on lockdown from the month of March, this is due to the ongoing pandemic that has claimed the lives of many people. The curb of the virus in Nigeria lead to the closure of schools, markets and public gatherings by the Federal Government and just recently the lockdown of churches has been.   The Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu have urged Nigerian students to bear with the government as matters are being settled, and in due time schools will be open. COVID-19: Lecturers say universities are ready to resume The National Coordinator, Congress of University Academics (CONUA), Dr ‘Niyi Sunmonu, on Saturday said its members were ready to resume work. Fiscal Responsibility Commission partners Ministry of International Development Cooperation on Public Financial Management The Fiscal Responsibility Commission (FRC) has paid a working visit to the Ministry of International Development Cooperation to strengthen its partnership and collaboration on the role of the FRC Law as regards Public Financial Management and to assist in the execution of the law across the MDAs in the state. See What A Student Found In His Room After Resuming Back To School Because of the corona virus pandemic across the country, government instructed all Nigerian schools and colleges to be closed until further notice and all the students are instructed to stay at home. The majority of the students don't go home with their luggage. Recall that the Nigeria government recently eased the lockdown across the country, many students have gone back to school to pick up their luggage from their separate hostels. A student from the University of Nigeria, Nnsuka (UNN), identified as Okoro Kelechi, has shared to his social media page on the strange thing he saw in his room after he went to pack his luggage. CARES Initiative: Cross River, Bank Of Industry to Partner On Grants and Intrest-Free Loans to Business Owners In a bid to avert a drastic decline in economic growth in Cross River State as a result of Covid-19 Pandemic ,the State government is set to partner with the Bank of Industry (BOI) to deliver the COVID-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus(CARES) program for Result, Result Area 3 (RA 3) in the State.
