  C’River Assembly Confirms State Independent Electoral Commission, Internal Revenue Service. The Cross River State House of Assembly has confirmed the Chairman and members of the Cross River State Independent Electoral Commission (CROSIEC) as well as the Cross River State Internal Revenue Service. The Chairman and Members of the Cross River State Independent Electoral Commission (CROSIEC) and the Cross River State Internal Revenue Service (CRIRS) were confirmed on Tuesday, following a request from the state government in a letter to the House of Assembly signed by the Secretary of the State Government, Prof Anthony Owan Enoh. Helen Isamoh Leads 2024 World Humanitarian Day Celebration In Calabar The Honourable Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation Dr. Mrs Helen Isamoh Egodo in collaboration with the Office of the wife of the Governor of Cross River State, Her Excellency Rev. College Of Medical Sciences Honours C'River Humanitarian Affairs Commissioner With Award  The College of Medical Sciences, of the University of Calabar, on 14th July, 2024, presented an award to Dr. Helen Isamoh-Egodo, Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, in recognition of her outstanding contributions to humanitarian services in the state. The award presentation, led by the Student Union Government (SUG) President of the college, Comr. Obo Etem Okadim, and her Vice, Comr. Obu-Ukah Mario Ogban, acknowledged Dr. Isamoh-Egodo's tireless efforts in addressing humanitarian issues in the state. Comr. Okadim praised the Commissioner's dedication, stating, "It was imperative that we present this award to Dr. Isamoh-Egodo before the expiration of her tenure, in recognition of the great things she has been doing in the state."
