The Cross River State Governor, Senator(Prof)Ben Ayade has presented N276 billion naira as the 2022 Appropriation Bill to the state House of Assembly. Tagged: "Budget of Conjugated Agglutination",  Governor Ayade said N170 billion is for Capital Expenditure while N106billion represents the Recurrent Expenditure.  Explaining the title of the budget, Ayade disclosed that It's conjugated agglutination because "it is a cascade of so many projects, back to back to ensure their completion. UNESCO to support C/River National Park for effective protection of biodiversity ... Following it's designation as an International Biosphere Reserve The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) has pledged its readiness to support the Cross River National Park for effective protection and preservation of its biodiversity.
