Cross River Lawmakers Confirm Mrs Blessing Egbara, 36 others as Commissioners

Yala Monarch Ochuole Odey Ogbonyi dies at 114, set to be buried on the 21st December

 The clan head of Yala-Obubra, HRH Ochuole Odey Ogbonyi who died at the early part of this year at the age of 114 Years is set to be buried on the 20th of December 2019 in his country home, Ukpochi Village, Yala Obubra in Obubra Local Government Area of Cross River State. In a statement released by Matthew Odey for the Ogbonyi family, the burial is scheduled to commence on the 15th December with opening of mourning house at Late Ochuole Odey Ogbonyi compound, Achon, Ukpochi Playground, Ukpochi Village, Yala Obubra and end on the 22nd with Thanksgiving service. The burial will be conducted by the Christian Association of Nigeria, Yala Obubra Chapter. Late Ochuole Ogbonyi who until his death was the longest serving monarch in Obubra Local Government Area.
