VeryDarkMan Pledges ₦500K to Victim of Police Shooting in Cross River, Demands Justice Renowned activist and social media personality, VeryDarkMan, has pledged ₦500,000 to support Mr Charles, who was shot by a police officer in Cross River State. The incident, which occurred on the 23 of March 2025 in cross River State at atakpa Police station, sparked outrage after reports emerged that a police officer opened fire, injuring Mr Charles mkpang and leaving the community in shock. Witnesses say the shooting was unprovoked, and calls for justice have since intensified. In response, VeryDarkMan took to his social media platforms, strongly condemning the act of police brutality. He announced his ₦500,000 donation to assist the victim with medical bills and legal expenses, emphasizing that no citizen should suffer such violence from law enforcement. “This is unacceptable! Awaade of Lagos Attempts Guinness World Record for Longest Theatre Marathon. Awaade of Awade Jacob Awade, popularly known as Awaade of Lagos, is a Nigerian theatre artist and graduate of Theatre and Media Studies from the University of Calabar. He is currently attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the longest individual theatre performance. His goal is to surpass the existing record of 110 hours and 46 minutes, set by Adrian Hilton from the UK in July 1987.  The record-breaking attempt commenced on March 28, 2025, at 9:30 PM at Romaan Lounge in Calabar and is scheduled to conclude on April 1, 2025.
