Two Cross Riverians killed Yesterday 24th August 2018 by Ebonyians in a renewed Cross River - Ebonyi Clash. The Actors Guild of Nigeria, Cross River State chapter is set to hold its first official meeting after elections. JUNGLE JUSTICS: MOB SET SUSPECTED ARM ROBBER ABLAZE IN IKOM

An angry mob in Ikom, Cross River State set one Mr. Umeh ablaze at the early hours of yesterday. The incident which happened at about 6AM at Sweet Mother Street junction was outrightly condemned by residents of the town. The suspected arm robber was alleged to have attempted to rob a motorcycle operator popularly known as Okada rider but met his doom when a gang of angry youths pounced on  him and set him ablaze. In a chat with Coneri Magazine, one of the residents of the Area and businessman Mr.  Abang David said the suspect had already been burnt to ashes  before the arrival of the Nigerian Police, decrying the damages that jungle justice does to any society.

The people of Nkum Okpambe, Yala-Obubra in Obubra Local Government Area of Cross River State  have demanded for a road as the basis for voting in the 2019 general election. Speaking on behalf of the community, retired police officer and  Chairman of Yala-Obubra Development Association (YODA) Supol.
