  August 8 Congress: Imoke's Statement, Firewood Or Water To The Blazing Fire In Cross River PDP  Former Governor of Cross River state, Sen. Liyel Imoke has recently waded into the brewing crises in Cross River PDP, calling for a compromise between Gov. Ayade led faction and the other one led by members of the National Assembly. The former Governor had urged members of the national and state assemblies to stoop for Gov. Ben Ayade as leader of the party in the state as well as urged Ayade to as Leader, accommodate and protect the interests of all stakeholders and ensure balance and fairness. But his statement seems to have been subjected to several interpretations by both followers of Gov.
