International Youth Week 2020: Youth Council To Stage Walk Against Cultism, Rape And Kidnapping In Cross River State

The National Youth Council Of Nigeria, Cross River State chapter is set to embark on road walk against cultism, Rape and kidnapping as part of its activities to mark the 2020 edition of International Youth Week. 

According to the Chairman of The National Youth Council of Nigeria, Cross River State chapter, His Youthfulness, Comr Dan Obo Jnr, 'the 2020 edition of The International Youth Week tagged "YOUTH ENGAGEMENT FOR GLOBAL ACTION" is to further emphasize the need to engage the youth in the decision making process of the society as a way of strengthening their capacity and relevance for global competitiveness as well as leverage on their creativity and youthful energies to fight the menaces of cultism, rape and kidnapping in the society. He said such a platform will afford them the opportunities to network with one another for increased productivity, with a special interactive session with His Excellency Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade, Governor of Cross River State. According to him, the walk shall take place on Tuesday 11th August, at Millennium park by 6am"

Other activities include: 
-Presentation of Covid 19 Heroes
-Investiture of Grand Patron/Patrons  
Date: Wednesday 12th August 2020 (For the interactive session)
Venue: Transcrop Hotels Calabar
Time: 10am, it going to be transformational.
