World Humanitarian Day 2025: C'River State Govt Joins Celebration As Commissioner Egodo Advocates Fair Treatment Of The Destitute and Needy  The Cross River State Government, through the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation (MHAPA-CRS), on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, joined the global community to commemorate the 2025 World Humanitarian Day, themed “Strengthening Global Solidarity and Empowering Local Communities.”   Speaking during the event, the Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Hon.
