Yala Apex Socio-Cultural Group, Omgbotuche Welfare Initiative Meets Otu’s Deputy Chief of Staff, Hints on Scholarship Scheme for Indigent Students The Yala Apex socio-cultural organisation, Omgbotuche Ayi Yala Welfare Initiative, on Tuesday, paid a courtesy visit to the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor of Cross River State, Hon. Boniface Okache, at the Governor’s Office, Calabar. According to the delegation, the purpose of the visit was to congratulate the Deputy Chief of Staff, whom they described as one of the group’s greatest benefactors, on his appointment and one year in office, to officially introduce the newly constituted executive committee of the organisation, as well as to unveil its new plans. World Humanitarian Day 2025: C'River State Govt Joins Celebration As Commissioner Egodo Advocates Fair Treatment Of The Destitute and Needy  The Cross River State Government, through the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation (MHAPA-CRS), on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, joined the global community to commemorate the 2025 World Humanitarian Day, themed “Strengthening Global Solidarity and Empowering Local Communities.”   Speaking during the event, the Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Hon.
