MOB BEAT SUSPECTED THIEF, CRIPPLED HIM IN CALABAR

 A suspect alleged to have stolen rods was severely beaten at Ibesikpo area of Calabar south, the Cross River State capital  at the early hours of yesterday by a group of people, mostly youths . The suspect, a resident of  Ubenakan, who was said to  have succeeded in conveying the first one  was caught when he went for the second one and was severely beaten by the residents of the area. Coneri Magazine gathered that the young man until the time of this report has been in coma. All attempts to get to the family proved abortive.

BREAKING NEWS: FINANCE MINISTER KEMI ADEOSUN RESIGNS AS BUHARI APPOINTS ZAINAB AHMED TO OVERSEE THE MINISTRY

The Finance Minister Mrs. Kemi Adeosun has resigned over alleged forgery of NYSC certificate. The Minister who tabled her resignation letter today Friday 14th September 2018 said she is only a victim of  circumstances and that she will continue to support the Buhari led Federal Government. MISS CROSS RIVER CENTRAL BEAUTY PAGEANT 2018 TO HOLD ON THE 29TH SEPTEMBER AS AUDITION HOLDS ON SUNDAY 16TH SEPTEMBER

Organisers of Miss Cross River Central Beauty Pageant 2018 are set to hold audition for the event. The audition scheduled to hold this Sunday 16th September 2018 at Ausma Suite Calabar Road Ikom is meant to produce twelve contestants, two from each Local Government Areas of the Central Senatorial District of Cross River State. MONICA UDOFIA TAKES THE ACTORS GUILD OF NIGERIA TO COURT

Monica Udofia, former factional chairperson of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Cross River State under Ibinabo led national executive has taken  AGN CRS Chapter to court over alleged conspiracy to hijack her office . In a telephone conversation with  the Chairman of the Cross River State chapter of the guild and popular filmmaker Comr.Jo Esse, Coneri Magazine gathered that Mrs Monica Udofia, who hails from Akwa Ibom  state has become synonymous with fighting AGN leaders in the state right from the time of Hon. Eric Anderson, present Commissioner for Culture and Tourism Development who was then chairman,to Maureen Ekpenyong who was chairperson under Emeka Ike led National Executive and now she has taken the jo Esse led State Executive to  court. AGN CRS FITNESS WALK: THE SEPTEMBER TO REMEMBER -JO ESSE

The Chairman of the Cross River chapter of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN Comr. Jo Esse has revealed that the September edition of the monthly CRS AGN Fitness Walk was a special one as members termed it the best in the history of the exercise. The exercise which took off from U. J. Esuene stadium in the early hour of six,  saw the jubilant members walking through diamond hill to wapi junction, crossed over  to state housing, through Big qua highway and finally ended at millennium park {eleven eleven}. Among the top stakeholders who participated in the exercise were the  South South vice president Mr Mens Ikpeme, chief Ekeng Henshaw, the Chairman AGN CRS Job Esse to mention but a few. EMEKA ROLLAS LEADS ACTORS GUILD DELEGATION TO SENATE PRESIDENT

 The President, Government of National Unity of the Actors Guild of Nigeria AGN, His Excellency chief Emeka Ejezie Rollas today lead a delegation of Actors to see the Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, All. Bukola Saraki on issues bordering on the growth of the guild and Nollywood in general.  The meeting had in attendance top actors and members of the board of trustees including Zack Orji, Segun Arinze, Chief Chiwetalu Agu, Ebere Okaro etc.  Members applauded the move and pray it yields positive results for the industry.

ACTORS GUILD: C'RIVER CHAPTER HOLDS FIRST MEETING AFTER ELECTIONS AS MEMBERS THROW SUPPORT BEHIND JO ESSE

The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Cross River State chapter held her meeting on the  30/8/18 at cultural centre, Calabar. PREAMBLE:.. The Meeting commenced  by 5.02PM,with 20 members present. The  Secretary (Comr. Ekpedeme Moses) read  out the agenda of the meeting; Kanu Okpo Moved a motion for the adoption of the minute which Ekeng Henshew seconded. Opening prayer was taken by Caroline Eko while apologies were obtained for Edet Esuabanga and Ibok Ekpenyong. The chairman gave his opening speech by welcoming members in the meeting as to their support for the guild, by excercising their Franchise in the just concluded guild elections in the state which produced the Jo Esse led administration.He thanked Emeka Rollas led executive and Hon.
