Not more than six people have been been nominated as commissioners in the second batch by the Governor of Cross River State Sen. The Benefits Of Establishing Local Council Development Authority In Cross River State - Elder Dr. Ndoma Odey, Local Government Administration Expert  To complement the efforts of the present administration in ensuring sustainable development at the grassroots and by extension, harnessing the economic resources of rural communities in Cross River state, a renowned Accountant and Local Government Administration expert, Elder Dr. Ndoma Odey has proposed the creation of 12 additional Local Councils in the state.
