Obaseki Qualified To Contest Edo Election, Court Rules The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has ruled that Governor Godwin Obaseki was qualified to contest in the September 2020 governorship election. Coneri magazine reports that Justice Ahmed Mohammed delivered the ruling on the alleged certificate forgery suit filed by the All Progressives Congress (APC) against Obaseki. Justice Mohammed while delivering judgment said that the APC failed to prove the forgery allegation beyond a reasonable doubt.  2.   President Muhammadu Buhari has condemned the killing of 70 people in Zaroumdareye, a border town between Niger Republic and Mali by militants, describing the incident as another clarion call for united action by African leaders against terrorism.
