Ikom New Yam Festival: Sen.John Owan Enoh Holds a predeclaration meeting

The senator representing Cross River Central in the National Assembly distinguished Senator John Owan Enoh has charged the people of Ikom, Cross River State to come out enmass and exercise their franchise  forthcoming general election. The politician said this today at Jorany Hotel Ikom while felicitating with the people of Ikom, Cross River State as they mark their New Yam Festival today 1st September 2018. In a pre declaration meeting attended by members of the All Progressive Congress APC, leaders of thought, captains of industry, gentlemen of the press and others, the senator thanked members for honoring the invitation while charging them to celebrate the new yam festival in peace. There have been speculations in the media that the Sen John Owan Enoh will declare for governorship under the umbrella of the All progressive Congress APc on the 5th September 2018. CROSS RIVER TALENT HUNT SHOW: GOV. BEN AYADE TO GRACE THE GRAND FINALE

 The Executive Governor of Cross River State, Sen.Prof.Ben Ayade to grace the grand finale of Cross River Talent Hunt Show scheduled to hold tomorrow 2nd September 2018 at the cultural Center Calabar. The Commissioner for Culture and Tourism Development Hon. Eric Anderson made this public two days ago on the Cross River Talents Forum (CRITAF), a talent promotion of Coneri Magazine. The event will see the finalists competing for the whooping sum of 12,000 dollars. YALA NEW YAM FESTIVAL: THE PEOPLE OF OBUBRA AND IKOM JOIN THEIR KINSMEN TO MARK 2018 EDITION

The people of Yala Obubra, in Obubra Local Government Area and Yala Ikom in Ikom Local Government Area respectively join  their kinsmen in Yala Local Government Area in celebrating this year's  Yala New Yam Festival. EBONYI STATE SEALED ABAKALIKI RICE MILL OVER RICE POISON

The Ebonyi State Government on Tuesday sealed the Abakaliki Rice Mill Limited over the alleged infiltration of poisoned and adulterated rice into the mill. The Senior Special Assistant on Internal Security, Dr Kenneth Ugbala, who announced the state government’s decision at a news briefing, said that the closure was with immediate effect.
