2019 GENERAL ELECTIONS: PEOPLE'S DEMOCRATIC PARTY RELEASES ELECTIONS TIMETABLE

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, scheduled Friday, October 5, and Saturday, October 6, for its national convention where its presidential candidate for the 2019 presidential election will emerge. This information was contained in a memorandum submitted to the National Executive Committee of the party by its National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, at its meeting in Abuja on Monday. It was titled, “Proposed timetable and schedule of activities,” and dated Monday, July 23, 2018, the internal memorandum was approved by the NEC.” It read in part, “The Independent National Electoral Commission has released the timetable for the 2019 general elections.  The the National chairman of the All Progressive Congress APC  Comr. Adams Oshiomhole has inaugurated the Cross River State Caucus today 8th September 2018 in Calabar. The chairman who was aptly represented by the Vice Chairman South South Hon. Hilliard Etta charged members to be united towards redeeming the state from the clutches of the ruling People's Democratic Party. Below are members of the state caucus. C'RIVER APC: USANI USANI CONGRATULATES ACHIGBE, REAFFIRMS SUPPORT

 The Minister for  the Niger Delta Affairs Pastor Dr. Usani Uguru Usani has congratulated the Chairman of the All Progressive Congress APC, Cross River State Chief Dr. Matthew Ojong Achigbe over what he described as victory for the entire party and the entire Cross Riverians as the APC warms up to redeem the state from the hands of the ruling People's Democratic Party PDP. Throwing his unflinching support behind the  leadership of Achigbe, members say the Minister has disappointed the enemies of the party who are praying for the party to remain divided ahead of the 2019 General elections. The Minister who was at the  Main bowl , Cultural center Calabar, Cross River State, today 8th September 2018 to witness Senator Prince Otu senatorial declaration under the umbrella of the All progressive Congress APC, said the unity of the party is chief amongst other things. BREAKING: AN IGBO BUSINESSMAN BELIEVED TO HAVE LINK WITH IPOB DISAPPEARS

Report reaching our desk has it that one  Igbo business man by the name Ibedu Ugochukwu Etisiobi who is believed to have a very strong affinity with Independent People Of Biafra IPOB has vanished. It was reported that the young man's bank account contains different transactions involvinĝ IPOB. He was last spotted in calabar cross river state and at the moment  no one knows his whereabout. Activists are calling on the international community and security operatives to  help investigate into the sudden disappearance of the man, adding that his disappearance might pose a threat to the peace and unity of the country.

An aspirant for the Office of Governor of Cross River State under the aegis of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Emmanuel Ibeshi, has written Cross Riverians an open letter in which he charged the electorates against being fanatical in their support for a particular politician NegroidHaven can say. MISS CROSS RIVER CENTRAL BEAUTY PAGEANT 2O18: CONTESTANTS TO REPRESENT DIFFERENT BRANDS

 The organisers of Miss Cross River Central Beauty Pageant 2018 have adopted a strategy to help contestants of the 2018 edition stay relevant even after the event whether they win or not.
