  Yala Nkum Ward Calls On Governor Otu To Address the Leadership Vacuum and Developmental Challenges plaguing The People The people of Yala Nkum Ward in Ikom Local Government Area, have urged the Cross River State Government, led by Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, to urgently address the political leadership vacuum and developmental challenges plaguing their ward. The call became necessary following the recent passing of prominent leaders in the ward, such as Chief Barr Ogar Ndoma Egodo, Prof Erim odey, Chief oga Nsor ojiji ,Engr Abung  amongst others, leaving them without guidance and direction.  Speaking on behalf of the Ward, head of Yala Nkum Clan, Osuole Patrick Ofuka expressed surprise at the seeming neglect of the ward in the distribution of opportunities, appointments and projects, insisting that the people urgently need a political leader from their midst to provide representation and guidance.
