Actors Guild of Nigeria C'River Chapter to hold first official meeting after elections. Tourism commissioner, others to attend.

The Actors Guild of Nigeria, Cross River State chapter is set to hold its first official meeting after elections. The monthly meeting is scheduled to hold on the 30th August 2018 at Cultural center complex Calabar by 4PM. The meeting will have in attendance the Honourable Commissioner for Culture and Tourism Development and former Chairman of the Actors Guild of Nigeria Cross River State chapter, Comr. Eric Anderson and other stakeholders and members of the guild. According to the Chairman of Cross River State chapter of the Actors Guild of Nigeria(AGN), Comr Jo Esse, the highlights of the meeting shall include general Endorsement and total recognition and acceptance of the new executive of AGN by the ministry of Culture,
presentation of partnership certificate to partners of the guild, presentation of blue print, formation of committees that will move the guild forward and other epoch making activities.





The Chairman called on Cross River filmmakers within and outside to come back home and take advantage of this reunified and progressive AGN while appreciating Shan George for her steadfast approach in contributing her quota to supporting the development of the industry.
He also commended  the National President of the guild His excellency Prince Emeka Ejezie Rollas, the Vice President South South Comr Mens Ikpeme, the Honourable Commissioner for Tourism  Hon. Eric Anderson, Apst Iya Orok (AGNEC Chairman) Vivian Anani, Johnny Irandy, Agnes Williams, Maureen Ekpenyoung, Monica Udofia, Beatrice Akonjom, Eriacy Confidence( CEO Coneri Magazine ) and others who have in one way or the other contributed to the growth of the film industry in the state





The business mogul while talking to Coneri Magazine summarized by saying: "
I there call  on well meaning Cross Riverians and friends of the state to support the guild in the state to enable  us export our talents and creativity as our colleagues in other states are already doing

The commissioner for Culture and Tourism Development, Eric Anderson who will be the special guest of honor had earlier promised to deliver Cultural Center to AGN for meetings and introduce a filmmaker to the Chairman for a movie project.

The leadership tussle that almost ruined  the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Cross River State chapter finally came to an end after the guild conducted an election that produced Jo Esse lead executive.
