According to one of the stakeholders of Ukelle Nation and House of Assembly Aspirant for Yala II State Constituency under the People's Democratic Party PDP Comr Jo Esse, the conflict is taking a new dimension as ebonyians ambush Cross Riverians and massacre them.
According to him:
" One soldier, Copl. Emmanuel Ndubuisi, posted to Mfuma checkpoint in Ukelle, on special assignment sent two Ukelle youths to deliver items to his coleagues on the Ebonyi axis and they (Ukelle boys) were butchered alive yesterday 24 August 2018"
Should I still keep quiet until Ukelle is exterminated? "
The aspirant who is also the chairman of the Actors guild of Nigeria Cross River State chapter condemned the gruesome act and said that he will leave no stone unturned until the perpetrators are brought to book.
