Chief Okoi Obono Obla's Campaign Organization Condemn Violation Of Mr. & Mrs Augustine iwara's Rights By Dss.

The campaign Organization of Chief Okoi Obono Obla, a Frontline contestant for the Office of the Senate in the central Senatorial district of Cross River State on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), have condemed the Violation of the Rights of the director general of the campaign organization and his wife Mr & Mrs. Augustine Omini Iwara by the DSS.

Speaking at ugep this afternoon, the director of media and publicity for the organization, Comr. Kc Iwara vehemently condemned the inhuman treatment and gross violation of the human rights of the D.G Mr Augustine Omini Iwara by the DSS and refered to the action as a brutal assult on a peace loving and law abiding citizen who has lived all his life advocating for peace and societal Developments, as such ill treatments meted on mr. Augustine are unbecoming  of officers of a supposedly professional outfit such as the DSS.

The director media and publicity expressed the displeasure of the people of ugep community over the indecorous arrest and brutality meted on their illustrious son Mr. Augustine Iwara as he was reduced to the level of a commoner and criminal with blind folding such a respected community builder in the course of effecting his arrest by contingent officers of DSS numbering more than 30, well-armed with lethal weaponry at 3 am which is illegal and unconstitutional but is believed to be politically motivated.

He further said the allegation against Mr.Augustne Iwara is spurious and baseless as it was behooving for the Dss to have subjected the information it had received to scrutiny before embarking on such an operation iterating that, Mr. Augustine Iwara and his wife have suffered serious psychological trauma, distress, embarrassment, and hardship as a result of the action of the DSS.

Mr. Kc Iwara uttered that, the Chief Okoi Obono Obla Campaign Organization and the peace loving people Of Ugep Community demand an unquantified written apology and compensation from the DSS to Mr. and Mrs. Iwara within a fortnight as in failing to do so, the Campaign Organization shall file an action against the Dss and ensure the enforcement of the fundamental human rights of Mr. and Mrs. Iwara with claiming whopping damages.

He called on the people of ugep, the central Senatorial district and Cross Riverians t to be law abiding and be constitutionally knowledged, stating that political interest  and utter greed for power by loathsome politicians has subdued and totally abused the fundamentals of a developing society and the citizenry rights.
