Ofodua Jungle Justice: Frank Ovat Condemns Incident, Offers Scholarship To Victim's Children

The House of Assembly Member Representing Obubra Constituency 2, Hon. Frank Ovat has condemned the gruesome murder of a constituent, Mr Eno Benjamin over allegations of witchcraftcy and murder by an angry mob. He visited the family of the demised on Saturday, 28th August 2021 to sympathize with them. Frank gave financial support for the upkeep of the family and awarded scholarships to the children of late Mr. Eno 

While addressing the family, he said, "I know how it feels when a family looses a breadwinner and in a manner that is largely undignifying. "I hereby grant scholarship to his children as well as offer to support the family in any other way necessary"

The family appreciated the Member, thanked him for showing concern and support especially for the scholarship awarded to the children and prays for God's blessings upon him in his endeavours.

The honourable member interacted with youths and stakeholders of the Ofodua community on the need to take for stringent measures in conjunction with security agencies to forestall a recurrence while urging them to shun cultism and other social vices and to not take laws into their hands but rather alert security agents for appropriate actions.

He has reiterated his commitment to effectively serve the people of Obubra Constituency2.
