Endorsements Galore as Rt. Hon. Bassey Eko Ewa Consults LGAs in the Central Senatorial District

Rt. Hon. Bassey Eko Ewa's senatorial aspiration has received emphatic endorsements from the people of Abi, Yakurr and Obubra LGAs respectively. This happened when he visited the LGAs on Tuesday 21st December, 2021 to unveil his intention to contest the forthcoming senatorial election to represent CRS Central Senatorial District on the platform of the PDP.

During the interactions with the executives, leaders and stakeholders of the Party, Hon. Ewa harped on the capacity and experience he built while serving in the House of Representatives. He applauded the show of love and solidarity especially in Abi and Yakurr LGAs whom he represented in the NASS and reeled out his record of service which was confirmed as accurate and very satisfactory by the audience.

The response in Abi was very encouraging. The enthusiastic party members hailed him as the leading contender for the Senate seat. They insist that the PDP in Abi will support Rt. Hon. Ewa because he is the only candidate who has the capacity and experience to bring back the dividends of democracy from the NASS. They recognize the importance of ranking in the legislature and hold that it will benefit the District immensely to send someone who will not be a first timer but a recognized ranking member in the Senate so that he can hit the ground running.

The reception in Yakurr was particularly heartwarming as it was a homecoming of an illustrious son. Different speakers admitted that Hon. Ewa's proactive and welfarist approach had been sorely missed since he left the House of Representatives in 2019, leaving a yawning gap that is yet to be filled. They pledged to support him to the very end as they unanimously agreed that indeed, IT IS TIME!

In Obubra, party faithfuls who had waited eagerly and excitedly responded very warmly to Hon. Ewa's message. They resolved that it is indeed the turn of Old Obubra to produce the next senator in Central and pledged their support to Hon. Ewa and Yakurr LGA for the position. They referred to the reports of sterling service Hon. Ewa delivered to Abi/Yakurr constituency as a former Reps member and expressed their desire to also be similarly served by him as their senator. 

In fact the TeamBEE 2023 tsunami is blowing across Central Cross River. The outpouring of support and solidarity by the three LGAs is humbling and a clear indication that Rt. Hon. Bassey Eko Ewa enjoys widespread following in the senatorial district and will be voted for overwhelmingly to emerge as the next senator come February 2023.
