Southern Nigeria: Building Up A Strong Identity For The Southern Bloc As Pathway To Evolution Of An Enduring Political Alternative, A Restorative Position Of Hope SNDF Must Occupy

The destiny of a people is determined by the choices they decide to make. Determined choices of hope made among alternatives through high intentions for the welfare of all, rather than the satisfaction of a few or a selected class. 

Most probably with the series of events currently ravaging the Nigerian, social and political scene in recent times within the past two years.  

It seems that the actors occupying our political fields are most likely insincere, insensitive or not really commited to resolving the plights, threats of imposition and challenges facing the generality of peoples within the Southern Bloc as a primary purpose of their ACTS OF NATION BUILDING.  Sadly by this same extension also, such LEADERSHIPS on each of the geo-political zones within the national entity. This seems an attempt to force everyone into surrender to voidance.

Over the past few years and despite the diversities in affiliations, culture, ethnic or religious classifications and the pains experienced by the people. They, the leaderships seem undaunted about the only race to make their 2023 ambitions the primary reality of the moment without any attempt made at resolving or pacifying the pains caused by the SOCIOCULTURAL CATASTROPHE and DISSASTER that visited the Bloc and or the Nigerian society in resent times. 

Resently, information revealed that one of the volatile, cultural leaders and critic in the Bloc was awarded an NDDC contract to the tune of almost seven trillion naira (7trilion naira) out of which a huge percentage of an upfront payment was made to execute the project.

Like him, so many in the past have been known over the decade to have continuously gulped money that should otherwise have been used to salvage the people from abject poverty, underdevelopment and ignorance with nothing to show for the payments they received.

Rather, they prefered leaving the Bloc, our living standards, our Roads, Cities, Infrastructural Development, Farms, Electricity etc, compelled under absolute degradation and neglect while we kept encouraging ourselves by helping them to keep singing the songs of marginalization and unfairness. 

Evidence have shown in different spheres including Electrification and Road construction projects etc since the beginning of the second republic up till now, huge misappropriation or embezzlement through governance, yet the land remains deserted and abandoned even on the farms in their villages.

Experience showed that once such contracts were awarded and the advance payments made, nothing happens at the project sites and there's always nothing to show to justify rationale gor the contract awards or monies paid out upfront.

Today, our people and living standards, roads and cities, our children's education and health care systems etc remain the same, obviously compelled under NEGLECT and DEGRADATION.

Without doubt, this presents to any onlooker a seeming, double tongued, double sided, mirror continuously dangled by our political leaderships in which the side looked at and understood by the people is different from the reality of the purpose of the BETRAYAL TREACHERY and DECEPTION of these era of leaders. 

This had been the agelong game of deprivation so many among our LEADERSHIPS and irrespective of the era or the geo-political Bloc they exist in had been playing to take advantage of the people. Meanwhile, we the people kept feeling the pains yet deceived to keep singing and dancing to the drumbeats and songs of their delibrate neglect. 

Being so, a biblical instruction demands that we first remove the log of wood in our eyes before we can see the speck of dust in our neighbour's eyes. It applies that if the SNDF must activate and propel any form of reconstruction or give a direction of hope to our peoples therefore. We cannot continue to assume that evil and good, wrong and right or  falsehood and truth mean the same thing as they want us to believe and embrace and so, accept and uphold.

Being so and if our LEADERSHIPS have been relating with us this way. Can, we then absolutely blame the magic of the magicians running the affairs of our beloved country (THE NIGERIAN NATION) of neglect, betrayal and abuse in the present if we keep treating posterity and our children's future this way.?

Nevertheless, that past may be considered going and it's sun may setting but if we must be sincere for once with ourselves in the Southern Bloc, the time has come to ignite the flame of a new dawn of PURPOSE for the Bloc. 

Apparently such drive may not immidiately or suddenly yield the expected dividends but if it does not presently, we must pursue after and leave behind the legacy of a purposeful vision and direction and like a search light, the honest, purposegul guidance to our evolving generations. 

Consequently in this quest, the effort of the SNDF could possibly change the past narrative or drumbeats of our FAILED LEADERSHIPS in the South,  else the music of the political deceit and financial recklessness will continue for decades far beyond 2023 if nothing is done to alter this cause.

If we must alter the cause then, the SNDF has a RESTORATIVE place to occupy hence, a decision to make here in our effort to ignite and give purposeful meaning to the essence of existence of our evolving generations.  Alternatively however, we may continue and keep dancing to the same drumbeats of past deceptions and recklessness but whichever way we so uphold,  a decisive choice must be made 

Accordingly, if we choose and decide to embrace and uphold the former towards altering the cause of this rapidly drowning arrangement, then we should no longer sit in limbo waiting for a CHANGE or TRANSFORMATION to evolve out of the decayed seed of failure our nation keeps on planting from one era to another. 

We must set our hands to work.

Consequently, the SNDF leadership must begin to work, sound the gongs and beat the drums of the birth of this NEW ORDER through "EFFORT", since every effort is WORK made towards attaining PURPOSE irrespective of the race towards 2023. 

Undoubtedly, the two, most, versatile, political formations that ruled our country since 1999 have failed to give meaning to both the structure of politicization and our expected acts of NATION BUILDING, thus leaving almost their actors visionless,  ignorant and bereft of the purpose of governance. Indeed today through neglect, the structure of the interrelationship that should naturally exist between the Local government, Ward councils and the people is almost inexistent. In some cases, you don't even know your Local government Chairmen or councillors.  They have become tin gods absolutely inaccessible to the supposed people they are expected to govern upon through relationshios based on adequately planned, sustained interactions.

🥦🥦 "THEY CALL IT NEGLECT, WE CALL IT, THE VEILED OPPORTUNITY" 🥦🥦

It is a veiled opportunity and value point for correctional Reformation of the citizenry that must be seized by the SNDF in the effort towards mobilizing them. 

Accordingly, sitting in limbo by the SNDF in this attempt would probably make no difference except we set our feet on solid foundation to give meaning to human lives as basis of the NEW, VISIONARY ORDER even if any of us is even a part of the dying glory of this political dispensation of plunder..

This therefore means that our LEADERSHIPS in the SNDF should tighten up their seat belts and set modalities to accomplish this new emergence by providing a new breath of air anxiously being expected by our peoples. 

"No static bus can move anyone out to another destination". We cannot afford to be static.

In other words, we must begin if we must give a rewarding meaning to our efforts. 

As an adage says: 

"The tortoise does not move forward until it stretches out it's neck".  

Therefore we must stretch out our neck to WORK by beginning through consolidating our contributing and efforts as well as strengthening the cause of INTER-DEPENDENCE of our classifications already set as our geo-political entities into the STRENGTH IF OUR WHOLENESS since nothing will happen if we do not ignite its ACTS.

"WE CAN MAKE THE DIFFERENCE --- YOU ARE THE DIFFERENCE"
