CTRA Completes Registration As A Non-Competitive Band for Carnival Calabar 2024

 The Cross River State Commercial Transportation Agency (CTRA) has sealed its participation in the 2024 Calabar Carnival by successfully completing its documentation as a non-competitive band.

CTRA Chairman, Mr. Efa Nyong, finalized the registration process today, reaffirming the agency's commitment to promoting commercial operators welfare and the state's tourism potential.

Nyong reiterated his  commitment to supporting the values of unity, creativity, and celebration, while using it to sensitize the people about reforms in the commercial transport sector. He pledged the agency's support for efforts of the state governor, Senator in transforming the state. 

On their part, the Chairman of the Calabar Carnival Commission, Mr. Gabe Onah, and the Executive Secretary, Pastor Cobham, thanked him for embracing the carnivals vision, keying into the vision, promising an unforgettable experience this year. 

Recall that the Calabar Carnival, known for its vibrant displays of music, dance, and art, attracts millions of visitors annually, contributing significantly to the state's economy, tourism and  cultural promotion.
