Gov. Dave Umahi of Ebonyi state becomes man of the moment

Chief Engr. David Nwaeze Umahi is the incumbent governor of Ebonyi Sate and Coneri Man of the moment. Born on the 1st of January 1964 to Elder Joseph Umahi and Margaret  Umahi of Umunaga, Uburu in  Ohaozara L.G area of Ebonyi state. Gov. Dave Umahi attended Ishiagu High school and Enugu state university respectively. He graduated in 1982 with a bachelor degree in civil engineering. In 2011, Engr. Dave Umahi was made deputy governor to former governor of Ebonyi state, chief Martin Elechi and became the executive governor of the state in 2015 under the umbrella of the peoples Democratic party. In just one year in office, Governor Dave Umahi has transformed the face of the state with heavy infrastructural and agricultural projects. In the area of agriculture particularly, Engr Dave Umahi has procured 200 tractors for mechanised agriculture including the acquisition of 85'000 hectares of land. In infrastructure, he has transformed Abakaliki the capital city and other major towns to modern Paradise commercial hubs. He constructed and renovated over 200 roads. It is in recognition of the above and other laudable, excellent and unparalleled achievement in Ebonyi state that Coneri magazine singled him out for the man of the moment.
