 Hundreds of courageous dissidents and human rights victims, activists, diplomats, journalists, and student leaders to gather on the 18th of February this year in Switzerland for the Geneva Summit for Human Rights and Democracy, an event that attracts the largest number of human rights workers in the world  every year to
shine a spotlight on urgent human rights situations that require global attention.

In a statement issued by the President of the Organization, Ambassador Agim Godwin Apple, while addressing the coordinators,  said the conference is built on the success and momentum of the previous gatherings, which have been widely acclaimed in the international human rights community.

Human Rights Watch is an NGO dedicated to:

1.  Supporting  Child development and Growth

2.  Children/Youths care and Education

3.  Preventing Domestic violence, torture and abuse on Girl-Child, Children, Youths, Women and Old aged persons.

4. Marriage Couples renewal and families reconciliation.

5. empowering Out-of-schools youths on Agricultural entrepreneurship.

6.  setting up Task Force on Anti Child Molestation in every state of the Federation.

7.  Preventing Bullying amongst students.

8.  Preventing Internet Bullying

9.  Rehabilitating children and Youths of school age with special    needs

10. Rehabilitating old aged with special needs.

11.  Promoting Universal Adult Suffrage.

12.  Avoiding  the inhuman treatment to people with mental illness.

13.  Advocating for peace

14.  Awarding of Prestigious awards on merit.
