Yesterday, 11th of January the Senator representing Cross River Central Senatorial District, Senator Sandy Ojang Onor graced the occasion of the Ndoma Egbas. He was invited to be the Chairman of the wedding ceremony of the now Mr Mba and Mrs. Immaculata Ndoma Egba, nephew of the politician in Abuja by former Senate majority leader and Chairman of NDDC, Sen. Victor Ndoma Egba (SAN). A duty he graciously accepted and performed wonderfully in his usual finesse.
Sen. Sandy Onor prayed and admonished the young couple to be committed to their marriage and be deliberately dedicated to ensuring it's success.
This is examplary leadership by both Political heavyweights who are of different Political parties and were opponents in the 2019 Senatorial election not only  commendable but also worthy of emulation.

This obvious show of brotherly ties despite being opponents in the just concluded senatorial elections in Cross River State  should send a powerful message to all supporters of politicians and political parties who have made fighting their brothers in other parties a career  and  who have declared their brothers enemies for supporting another candidate. They should know that like sport, politics is the game of maturity and anyone who can not be mature enough to play friendly with his brother or sister in another camp or party is not fit to wear the jersy of politics.
