The Commissioner for Culture and Tourism Development, Mr. Eric Anderson, has preached the gospel of humanity as he organized a surprise Valentine's day get together for Ministerial and extra Ministerial Stakeholders of the tourism cluster in the State, at the Ministry's office, Okoi Arikpo House.

Placing emhasis on Governor Ben Ayade's inspiring carnival theme of year 2019, 'Humanity', Anderson said that " based on Governor Ayade's humanity principles and today's celebration, we are selflessly guided to practice love. The message of love cannot be exhausted as love builds, grows, inspires, forgives, heals and breaks down walls.

For this cluster to break limits, we all  need to make selfless sacrifices, having it in our minds that, a win for one, is a win for all and setback for one is a setback for all. Also, finding ourselves in such relaxing setting, brings about another dimension of creativity." He added.

The Director of Administration, Cross River State Carnival Commission, Pastor Mrs Eme Affiah, while leading the cluster through a brief prayer session, prayed for God's grace, wisdom and guidance upon the Governor, the Commissioner and the tourism cluster.

The event was well attended and highpoints include cutting of the Valentine cake, goodwill messages, meet and greet, amongst others.
