Today, I in the company of my incredible team members embarked on a solidarity visit to witness a Guinness World Record breaking attempt. Daniel Ehis a 300 Level student of the Department of Philosophy, University of Calabar, Calabar is set to break the Guinness world record of the longest writing (Write-a- thon) with a target to write for 188 Hours.

It was truly a sight to behold, the energy and enthusiasm in the air were contagious as people came together to support this amazing feat.

Seeing the young Man (his name) push his limits and strive for greatness was nothing short of inspiring. It reminded me of the power of human determination and the endless possibilities that lie within each of us.

Haven been a Malabress and obtaining 3 of my university degrees from the Prestigious University of Calabar, Calabar, I was excited to visit my alma-mater when I learnt that the Write-a-thon was holding there. What made this experience even more special was the sense of unity that permeated the atmosphere; Students, lecturers, organizations, from different backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs stood side by side, celebrating the human spirit as one. In a world where division can sometimes overshadow togetherness, events like these serve as a powerful reminder that we are stronger when we stand together.

We must continue to appreciate incredible individuals who dared to dream big and break barriers. No dream is too big, no goal is too lofty, we are capable of achieving greatness when we come together and support one another.

I like other well meaning Cross Riverians and people of goodwill have given my individual support to Daniel and his team as he continues on this quest.

Dr Helen A. Isamoh- Egodo
