Contrary to  some malicious media reports that the election was illegal and an ambush on some members, Coneri magazine gathered  that the sep up of the national unity government (AGN- NAG)and subsequent election of the AGN NAG exco was as a result of the urgent need to fill the vacuum left by the dissolved excos of both Ib  and Emeka Ike led factions. According to one of the members of the guild and lawyer, John Nuku ( Esq.) The election was done through a legitimate process by the AGN Congress made up of delegates drawn from the two factions across all the chapters of the federation. According to the legal luminary, the constitution empowers the Congress to move motion for any matter affecting the body.  He further said that some members are bent on resisting any meaningful move made by some concerned members to restore lasting peace to the guild. In a separate interview, The chairman of the peace and reconciliation committee, Chief Dr Remy Ohajianya  told Eriacy Confidence Oba of Coneri magazine that no individual is more powerful than the guild adding that permanent peace has been restored.
The conference was graced by top players in the industry among such as Nkem Owoh popularly known as Osuofia, Chief Chiwetaluagu, Vitalis  Ndubuisi, Ajebor, Emeka Ike, and others. The peace meeting was proudly sponsored by Golden Valley Hotel and supported by numerous media houses including Coneri magazine.
