Man arrested in connection to the gang raping of 11 year old girl in Calabar

Former Commissioner for Tourism Cross River State and Environmental Task force Committee Chairman Mr. Eric Anderson narrates his encounter with gang of child rapist in Calabar who sexually molest an 11 year old girl at night in a major bus stop in Calabar.
Reports via shared telephone conversation to our newsroom in Calabar, Mr Eric said while driving at night along the Calabar Highway around the Secretariat, he noticed a broken down vehicle carelessly abandoned on the highway and he knew that could be dastardly to night drivers, stopped to make logistics for the car to be cleared, then he noticed a group of four adult men, queued at the secretariat bus stop at 9:30pm.
Inquisitive, he called out to them to know what they were doing there, only to sight a little child lying on the ground.
He inquired who the child was and they chorused that it was a homeless boy child who always come there to take shelter. Eric said he wasn't satisfied, he reached out to his touch and pointed to the scene, and was shocked at the sight.
A young little girl, aged 11 and was being gang raped by the four male adult.
The young child has since been rescued by his brave move and currently under the custody of the State Housing Divisional Police Station, Calabar with one of the culprit arrested.
Further inquiry from the young child reveals that she was being brought as house help from Itu Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State by an aunty only to be accused of witchcraftcy by same aunty and chased to the cold, terror of the nights and hunger of day.
Our correspondent reveals that the sexual encounter with these men is not the first time and as a fact, they use monetary gratification to bait the hungry little girl to their antics.
Notably, Mr. Eric has promised to stay on top of the matter to arrive at a conclusive end as the Nigerian Police is set to launch an arrest against the said aunty by dawn tomorrow.
