ObubraDecides2020: What you need to know about the just concluded PDP Mock Primaries

Although, it won't be out of place to celebrate with any of the top three aspirants at the just concluded mock  Primaries of the Obubra chapter of the  People's Democratic Party PDP because of their laborious efforts in the selection process but there's need to put things straight to correct the impression that any of the candidates has emerged the flagbearer of the party. After a laborious arguments on who becomes chairman of Obubra 2020 at Axari hotel Calabar by the Obubra chapter of the PDP,  three aspirants were selected. The aspirants that made it to the top three are Comr Theophilus Abe, Dr Bassey Tom and Mr Chris Enyi. And the three names were to be forwarded to the party for confirmation.

At the moment no aspirant has been declared winner as the result has been rejected due to the fact that instructions were not duly followed.

According to the timetable, all the Local Government caucuses are mandated to submit names of aspirants between 15th and 16th of December to the party. The caucuses are expected to either produce three names or send names of all the  aspirants. This is what transpired in Axari hotel today. Members of the public must take note.

It will be misleading and utterly deservice to the party and the entire Obubra people for any person or group of persons to begin to parade any of the aspirants as flag bearer before confirmation. All the parties involved are aware of this.

All Party faithfuls should be patient enough to wait for further information from the party before peddling the rumor of any aspirant being the PDP candidate for Obubra chairmanship come 2020.

Meanwhile congratulations to whoever will emerge the next chairman of Obubra.
