The post graduate students Government electoral committee, headed by comr. Samuel ibor has exhaustively screened aspirants of different electoral offices in the post graduate students Government of the university of calabar.
Before commencing screening of the aspirants, the committee chairman and his members sternly warned the aspirants against presenting of false documents for screening as such exhibitions will engender excruciating penalties on them.
While screening the aspirants, comr. Freeman and comr. Ototo who are both members of the electioneering board were mandated by the electoral chairman to conduct intensive investigations on the contestants credentials and character, so as to ensure that aspirants are of good character and are devoid of malfeasance that will denigrate the reputation of the post graduate students Government of the university of calabar.
Petitions submitted against aspirants were presented on the desk of the electoral committee members who promised to treat them with outmost solicitous for the attainment of a credible and commendable elections for the post graduate students, while the committee stated that, any aspirant found guilty of the petition written against him or her will be disqualified from the contest.
The screening ended with a hallmark on the electoral committee as they urged aspirants to turn up for their security screenings tomorrow being the 27th of April, 2021, and promised to conduct the best ever free and fair elections of the post graduate students Government of the university of calabar.
