Efa Nyong Donates Water Project To Communities In Calabar

In his drive to ensure that Communities in Calabar and environ have access to portable water for their daily use, a young Philanthropist and foremost advocate of development, Mr. Efa Nyong has donated a water Project to Communities in Ward 9 of Calabar South Local Government Area of Cross River State.

Mr. Nyong, who said that his aim is to provide residents, especially the day and children, with access to clean and safe water thereby solving the challenges of water scarcity in Calabar South, urged individuals to complement government's effort by contributing their quota to the growth and development of their Communities. 

Speaking on Thursday, June 28, 2022 during the commissioning, former Senator representing the good people of Southern Senatorial District and APC Gubernatorial Candidate for Cross River State in the forthcoming 2023 general election, Sen. Prince Bassey Otu aplauded Mr. Efa Nyong for facilitating the project, describing   the initiative as laudable, timely and a strategic move to end water scarcity in the state as water, he said, is essential to every other activity in life. Sen. Otu seized the opportunity to assure his supporters of victory in the forthcoming gubernatorial elections in the state, while promising to consolidate on the gains of the present administration led by his Excellency, Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade, if elected.

Similarly, the chairperson of Calabar South Local Government Council, Mrs. Esther Edet Bassey has urged  young people to prioritize giving back to the society that raised them. Mrs. Bassey made this statement during the commissioning of the water project facilitated by Mr. Efa Nyong, a young philanthropist from Ward 9 of Calabar South. The Council boss maintained that if all youths do their part, the pressure mounted on the government would be reduced to the bearest minimum. She described the facilitor as a young, hard working, humble and kind hearted young with the passion to see others live the best of their lives.
