Saturday 9th of July was a day not to forget in a hurry as Film/Tv City Academy a.k.a Filmcity in collaboration with Actors Guild of Nigeria,  Cross River State Chapter Held A ONE DAY ACTING WORKSHOP TITTLE " RIGHT&WRONG OF ACTORS. Coneri Blog reports that Actors turned out en mass for the training. 

The resource persons, Amb. Jo Esse current chairman AGN CRS chapter, and MONICA UDOFIA Emeritus AGN CHAIRMAN CRS, did justice to the topics as they took turns to wet the ground for the participants with a very lively discussion session.  The participants too were thrilled with awesome answers from the resource persons in the questions and answers session.

The resource persons deliciously handled topics such as: who is an actor, how to maintain stardom, Attracting endorsement as an actor, how an actor should carry themselves in production, how to maintain stardom in the present age and time, Etc.

The venue was filled to the brim with veteran actors like William William(big willy) , Charles Ogbu, Eriacy Confidence Oba,Olu Euba, Kandy Umoh, Ezinne Owoh Ekei Samuel, Papa Marvelous and filmmakers like Godas Asuquo. The training saw intending filmmakers  urging the organizers  to intensify efforts to make it a monthly or quaterly event for Actors in Calabar as it has been long the people of Calabar experienced such a programme. 

 Earlier in the workshop, the AGN Chairman,  Amb.  Jo Esse addressed  the participants to stop seeing FILMCITY as Starro Eno but rather as a Brand,  adding that the company has the potential of growing into a big brand in the country with Eno's commitment to it. He therefore called on family, friends and well wishers to join efforts with the founder to make FilmCity an endearing brand. 

The event which ended with certificate presentation had all the participants and resource persons, including supporting brands going home with Certificate Of participation. There was also a meet and greet session where actors and intending Actors met to familiarize themselves with one another as well as there after interviews. 

 In conclusion, CEO, Starro Eno, appreciated God Almighty for the success of the event while thanking the resource persons and participants for gracing the day. He specifically appreciated the leadership of the Actor's Guild of Nigeria, Cross River State,  the management and staff of Coneri Nigeria,  Agevision,  Amaglobal,  Macotechsug, RMA FILMS.
