Etaba doles out 21 Million Naira, Bags of Rice, Other Items To Constituents

In the spirit of Yuletide/New Year celebration, the member representing Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Mike Etaba, on Monday, January 1, 2023 distributed several hundred bags of rice and other items as palliative to constituents.   

This is in addition to his earlier donation of twenty-one million naira to the 21 council wards of the federal constituency.

According to the lawmaker, the gesture was to ensure that constituents celebrate the season with joy, while the financial donation was intended to provide support to ease some of the financial burdens faced by individuals within the federal constituency.

Flagging- off the distribution in his hometown, Etaba pledged commitment to the welfare of the people as well as ensure provision of job opportunities, infrastructure development and other people oriented programmes. He asserted that serving and uplifting his constituents will form the bedrock of his third term representation

Meanwhile, constituents of Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency have expressed their confidence and satisfaction in Etaba's representation stating that, their votes were indeed in the right direction. 

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, liaison officer for Ofumbongha/Yala ward, Mrs Grace Osim commended the lawmaker for the largesse, describing him as an empathic leader, strong unifier among citizens and promoter of peaceful coexistence.

This gesture extended to men,women and youths of Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency has further demonstrated his commitment to the welfare of the people he represents"
