On behalf of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, I send a hearty Easter greeting to everyone who has shown unceasing kindness to humanity and love to family, friends, and even strangers. 

This Easter day heralds a season of merciful gifts to the world and a period of contemplative self-assessment as we rejoice in the risen Christ. 

This is a time to reflect on the love of our everlasting God who gave his only son to cleanse our sins and welcome us to the tent of a spiritual renewal that assures us of his unmitigated love.

As we celebrate this joyous event let us also rejoice in the goodness that we experience every day in our interactions with the needy, the displaced, and the homeless. 

As we give praise to the Lord for the abundant gratitude that permeates every facet of our lives, let the spirit of joyfulness also radiate from us to brighten the lives of our friends, neighbors, and even strangers we may not know.
