Obubra Leadership Meets with Governor Otu, Seeks To Address Communal Crises, Infrastructural Challenge

Yesterday, Friday, April 19, 2024, the leadership of Obubra Local Government Area, led by Rt. Hon. Mike Etaba, Member Representing Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency, met with His Excellency, Senator Bassey Edet Otu, Governor of Cross River State, to discuss ways to address the incessant communal crises and other political and infrastructural problems facing the LGA.

During the meeting, Rt. Hon. Etaba commended Governor Otu for his steadfast and visionary leadership, expressing confidence in his ability to transform Cross River into a prosperous and peaceful state. He also appealed for speedy efforts to address the numerous challenges facing the people of Obubra, particularly in the areas of infrastructure, education, youth empowerment, and other critical sectors



Rt. Hon. Etaba also urged all sons and daughters of Obubra to come together in the interest of peace and progress, emphasizing that unity is key to overcoming the current challenges and building a peaceful, brighter, and greater Obubra.

In his response, Governor Otu expressed gratitude for their valuable support during the elections. He pledged to partner with stakeholders in Obubra to address the challenges facing the LGA
