The Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs and poverty alleviation in Cross River State, Dr. Helen Isamo-Egodo, has felicitated with Nigerians on the occasion of Democracy Day.

In a statement released on June 12, Dr. Isamo-Egodo acknowledged the progress made by the state and nation, honoring the struggles of the past and the resilience of the Nigerian people.

She reaffirmed her commitment to ensuring that democracy works for all, particularly the most vulnerable, and pledged to prioritize their needs, amplify their voices, and promote inclusive governance.
