Yuletide: CTRA Chairman, Efa Nyong, Extends Love to Constituents Of Unit 8, Ward 9 Of Calabar South
The chairman of the Commercial Transportation Agency, Cross River State, Mr. Efa Nyong, on Monday celebrated Christmas with the people of Polling Unit 8, Ward 9 of Calabar South.
The gesture, which included the distribution of rice and other items was well-received by the beneficiaries, who expressed gratitude and appreciation for Mr. Nyong's thoughtfulness.
In his remark during the distribution exercise, Mr. Nyong promised to continue to deliver the benefits of democracy to the people of Polling Unit 8 and Ward 9 in particular and Calabar South in general, reiterating commitment to advancing the People First Agenda of the State Governor, Sen. Prince Otu. He used the opportunity to thank Governor Otu for his commitment to Infrastructural and human capital development, praying God's blessings upon him and his family and wishing him a joyous season of celebration.
On his part, a member of the Unit, Prince Ephraim thanked Mr. Nyong for his kindness, praying for God's blessings upon him. "We are grateful for your show of love and care. May God grant you infinite mercy and abundant blessings in Jesus' mighty name," Prince Ephraim said.
Mr. Gabriel E.Okon, Vice Chairman of Unit 008, Ward 9, also commended Mr. Nyong's actions, stating that showing appreciation to the people is essential for a democracy that truly serves its citizens. "We have been doing this, and we will continue to celebrate with our people based on our capacity. We must show appreciation always. This act portrays a good democracy that is closer to the people," Mr. Okon said.
