Senator Eteng William's Two-Year Scorecard: A True Reflection of Effective and People-Oriented Representation

The last two years of Senator Eteng Williams as Senator representing the Cross River Central Senatorial District have been marked by visible projects and initiatives that have attracted attention from all and sundry. His show of love and concern to the plights of his constituents has endeared him to many, and his efforts have transformed the lives of people in the district.

One of the most notable initiatives implemented by Senator Williams is the installation of streetlights in various communities across the district. The project, aptly named "Project Light Up Central," has brought illumination to communities that were previously plagued by darkness, which had become a safe haven for criminality. Today, these communities are aesthetically illuminated, giving them a beautiful sight to behold, especially at night. This development have not only enhanced security but also improved the overall quality of life for residents.

Another significant project implemented by Senator Williams is the construction of solar-powered boreholes in various communities. The project aims to ensure sustainable water supply, particularly in regions that suffer from water scarcity. Lack of drinkable water has been a major cause of diarrhea and other waterborne diseases in many communities, and Senator Williams' initiative has come as a relief to many. Some of the communities that have benefited from this project include Bendeghe-Ekiem in Etung, Ediba in Abi, Olulumo in Ikom, Ababene in Obubra, Ijom in Ugep, Assiga in Yakurr, Aduma in Mkpani, Afaben in Mkpani, and Boje in Boki.

Senator Williams' two-year scorecard is a reflection of his effective and people-oriented style of representation.
