Ernest Obasse Tours Obubra I, Appreciates APC Members for Victory
The APC Candidate for Obubra I State Constituency in the forthcoming elections, TPL Ernest Obasse, yesterday embarked on a thank-you tour across the four wards of Obubra Constituency I following the successful conduct of the party’s governorship primaries which produced His Excellency, Sen. Bassey Edet Otu, as the APC governorship candidate, as well as the confidence reposed in him by party members to fly the party’s flag for the State House of Assembly election.
During the visit, Obasse expressed profound appreciation to members and stakeholders of the party for their overwhelming support, loyalty, and commitment throughout the primary exercise.
Addressing party faithful in the various wards, the APC flagbearer described the successful emergence of Governor Otu as a victory for unity, continuity, and the collective aspirations of the people of Cross River State. He reiterated the need for members of the party to remain united and committed ahead of future political engagements, stressing that the strength of the APC lies in its unity, discipline, and grassroots support.
According to him, the visit was aimed at personally appreciating party members for standing firmly with the leadership of the party and for contributing to the peaceful and successful conduct of the primaries. Obasse further assured the people of Obubra I State Constituency of his commitment to effective representation, inclusive leadership, and people-oriented legislation if elected into office.
He also called on party supporters to sustain the momentum and continue mobilizing support for the APC across the constituency and the state at large.
Party leaders and supporters in the various wards warmly received the APC candidate and pledged their continued support for both Governor Bassey Otu and Ernest Obasse ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The tour, which attracted party stakeholders, youths, women groups, and community leaders, ended with renewed calls for unity, cooperation, and consolidation within the party.
