BREAKING: COMISSIONER FOR CUTURE AND TOURISM, ERIC ANDERSON TO COMMISSION AGN CRS FITNESS WALK ON SATURDAY

Former Chairman of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Cross River State Chapter and incumbent Commissioner for Culture and Tourism Development in the state, Mr. Eric Anderson will be commissioning the AGN CRS fitness walk on Saturday 18th August 2018, 6AM.





The exercise which was initiated by the then Eric Anderson led AGN in 2010 did not continue after the end of his tenure in 2013. According to the Chairman-elect, Comr. Jo Esse, reviving the fitness walk is part of the new executive's drive to reunite all the members of the guild in the state. He commended the Honourable commissioner for his show of Maturity, wisdom and love for the guild in a show of humility to take part in the re-branded AGN fitness walk, urging members to turn up enmass for the exercise. He further said that the unity walk which will hold in two locations: Calabar and Ikom respectively will take place simultaneously in both Cities, as an emulation of the Sen. Ben Ayade style of inclusive governance, to further incorporate all members irrespective of place of residence.





In another development, the personal secretary to the former Gov Liyel Imoke and major stakeholder of the guild, Mrs. Beatrice Akonjom will chair the rebranded AGN fitness walk committee. In her remarks while speaking with Coneri magazine, Mrs. Akonjom called on all and sundry to join in the exercise as it will foster mutual understanding among members.
Also on his part, Former Director of Guild Services and State tax force Chairman, who is also the co founder and pioneer President of the Sampsons' fitness & security outfit, Mr Emmanuel Effa Williamson popularly known as Sasa Lokome, will be the fitness team leader. He said this after a brief chat with the state Chairman elect Comr Jo Esse.

It will be recalled that the Cross River State Chapter of the Actors Guild of Nigeria held her elections on the 7th July 2018 at Etaval Hotel Calabar and produced Comr. Joe Esse lead executive.
