AGN CROSS RIVER STATE CHAPTER ELECTS NEW EXCO


The Actors Guild of Nigeria, Cross River State Chapter elects new exco. The election which took place today 7th July 2018 at Etava Hotel Calabar was well attended by members including the National Vice President Comr. Mens Ikpeme, SA to the National President on Monitoring and South South Zone Comr. Pam Silver Sikpo representing the National Exco, Last prophet, CEO Coneri Magazine and others.

The AGNEC Chairman charged the new Exco to consolidate the peace and Unity campaign of the national to ensure the progress of the guild.
In a congratulatory message the former Vice Chairman of the Guild and Ex Councillor Hon. Sunday Owoche thanked all those who contributed to making the dream of re-branding AGN in the state a reality  and charged the new Exco to live up to expectations of members.
In a separate statement, Popular Presenter and Comedian recalled how the tusle in the state had deteriorated the guild before the Iya Orok and Co. Rescue team came on board .He added that the guild will hold them responsible if they fail in their efforts to incorporate other members especially the aggrived.



Similarly the Exco members of Cross River Central Satalite Chapter were also introduced.

Thirty minutes before the election one Miss Monica Udofia, former Factional Chairperson of the guild arrived with some police officers to interrupt the election but was rather dissapointed when the Inspector General of Police put a call  across to the police commissioner in the state with the instructions to ensure the elections hold.
She left back in frustration while the elections continued.
