CALL ON BUHARI TO FIRE USANI USANI, MINISTER OF NIGER DELTA IS AN INSULT TAKEN TOO FAR...DG USANI CAMPAIGN ORGANIZATION

The Director General of Usani Campaign Organization Pastor Ene Cobham on THURSDAY described The Call by One Clement Asanye state Coordinator of Buhari Youth Organization (BYO) that the Honourable minister of Niger Delta Affairs should be sacked over a minor incident that took place in Nko during Alex Egbonna campaign trail.
The DG in a statement in Calabar said “I feel completely taken aback by an online publication (breeze reporters) alleging that the Honourable Minister of Niger Delta attacked Alex Egbonna campaign trail in Nko over the weekend.
‘It is quite disturbing that a political thug would tarnish the image of the Hon. Minister, a man of God who is known for his peaceful disposition is a complete insult that is taken too far”
He noted that it is a common thing in our environment, especially during periods of campaign to experience such schemishes but he frowned at whatever must have caused it saying his principal and the campaign organizations are not aware.
“that Asanye would strive to implicate my principal is a known fact of where he is coming from and we know their sponsors. However, let it be known that the Hon. Minister has never been and not about to become a man of violence. This call is a confirmation to their intent and purpose of their blackmail project”
We wish to remine Asanye and his co- travellers that it is on record that when Owan Enoh went to Obudu last year to campaign in Obudu two Boki students of FCE Obudu where shot dead and Asanye kept mute as if nothing happened, in Uyo they attacked Usani supporters and they pretended as if it is the usual thing. Now again two people in Etung were macheted by thugs suspected to be Owan Enoh supporters and the same Asanye has not called on Buhari to sanction anybody.

In a release by Mens Ikpeme, the factional state publicity secretary of the All Progressive Congress The APC, Cross River, the DG condemned in totality the act which he claimed is targeted at tarnishing the good name of the Honourable minister.
