OBUBRA/ETUNG 2019: NO WINNERS NO LOSERS -HON. MIKE ETABA

The Member- Elect for OBUBRA/ETUNG Federal Constituency Hon. Michael Etaba has thanked the people for  coming out to vote massively for  his re election amidst several factors that threatened to influence their decisions. The Obubra born Lawmaker called his victory a no win no lose feat that is for the good of  OBUBRA/ETUNG. He also extended his appreciation to His Excellency the Executive Governor of Cross River State Sen. Ben Ayade for his support and superlative leadership in the state and   his party the people's Democratic Party PDP for believing in him and working against all odds to ensure his victory.  Below is his letter to the people.

"On Saturday, 23rd February, 2019, you the good people of Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency spoke loudly through your votes to re-elect me to the House of Representatives for a second term.

This feat was made possible by many factors, top of which is God almighty. He alone has the power to turn wishes, plans and dreams to reality! His name be praised forever, Amen.

I also deeply appreciate His Excellency, Senator Prof. Ben Ayade, the Digital Governor of our dear Cross River State, for his outstanding and superlative performance in the three years and 10 months he has administered our state. 

Excellency, your track record of achievements in the time you have been at Government House has not gone unnoticed! Well done, Sir. 

The focused leadership of the Cross River State Chapter of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), led by our indefatigable Chairman, Chief Inok Edim, also contributed immensely to my victory and those of other PDP candidates across the state.

Finally, and most importantly, I reserve a special mention for my people, the good people of Obubra and Etung Local Government Areas! 

Thanks for your unflinching support before, during and after the election. I am eternally grateful to you, my brothers and sisters, and, with the elections behind us, I assure you that the interests of our Constituency shall be my main pre-occupation in the next four years. 

I solicit your continuous cooperation and support. All hands must be on deck to move Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency forward. 

There are no losers; we are all winners!
