RE: Organizers resort to non physical contest due to the outbreak of Corona virus pandemic and subsequent lock down.

The management of Miss Southern Nigeria Beauty Pageant MSN heartily  submits as follows:

1. Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic and subsequent Lockdown by both Federal and state Governments, this year's edition is hereby postponed from the initially scheduled 9th of May to 20th of May 2020. On this note, we urge all the contestants to avoid paying camping fees, sewing dresses and other preparations meant for a physical event as we have resorted to a non physical contest to prevent both the organizers and contestants from not only contacting the virus but also observing the social distancing order of the Government aimed at preventing the spread of the dreaded corona virus in Nigeria.

2. The Voting remains through Miss Southern Nigeria Polaris Bank Account as the Contestant with highest Votes will be declared winner of MSN 2020 and a date arranged for her coronation alongside the first and second runner ups, though other contestants shall also be invited to witness the coronation. This will be followed by courtesy visits by the Queen and the first and second runner ups to various stakeholders of the South with plagues and certificates of award advocating for the unity of the region.

3. Voting has been extended from 20th of April to 20th of May,2020 to enable contestants meet up with the new development. Only contestants with the highest votes after meeting the target of 1000 votes and other assessments due pageant shall be declared winner.

3. The Winner, 1st and 2nd runner ups will be given monetary prizes.

4. Other contestants will be given consolation prizes of;

a. Brand representation

b. Movie contracts

c. Modeling contracts

d. Publication contract with Coneri Magazine etc.

N/b: Voting is still #50 per vote and the target is still 1000 votes equivalent of N50,000 as names of voters and votes voted, shall be published for confirmation.

Finally, we wish you the best and enjoin you to be law abiding as you observe the SIT AT HOME exercise and NCDC standards while canvassing for votes from your friends and loved ones.
