SENATOR  DR PATRICK IFEANYI UBAH IN COLLABORATION WITH NIGERIA PORTS AUTHORITY (NPA) FACILITATES 3 DAY VOCATIONAL SKILLS TRAINING FOR YOUTHS AND WOMEN

Reaffirms  commitment to fight unemployment in Anambra

No fewer than 200 Women & Youths are currently benefiting  from a 3-Day Vocational Skills Training and Employment Tool Distribution exercise in Ezira  Orumba South Local Govt Area in Anambra state.

The ongoing  workshop which commenced yesterday Friday 29th and  billed to last till  Sunday 31st January 2021 is taking place at the Grace and Joseph Event Centre, Ezira in Orumba South Local Government Area. 

This initiative is in line with Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah's mission to curb the menace of unemployment in Nigeria. The Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District is facilitating the program in collaboration with the Office of the Presidency, and the leadership of the Nigerian Ports Authority to shore up efforts to bridge the gap in unemployment and tackle poverty in Anambra state.

"My commitment towards  empowering our people is one that remains unshakeable and non negotiable. We must keep driving deep seated conversations and policy actions that will elevate our people from poverty and unemployment"  the Senator reiterates 

At the end of the workshop, participants will recieve support tools to enable them create business opportunities and implement problem-solving solutions in and around their communities.

Over 200 women and youths will be impacted with the requisite skills to better themselves after the workshop.
