Father Of Abi Local Government Area PDP Chapter Chairman, Lordly Laid To Rest.



 The body of late Mr.Emmanuel Adaka Bassey who passed on to eternal glory at the age of 78 years, has been laid to rest on Saturday, the 8th of may in his country home at Ekureku in Abi Local Government Area of Cross River State.

The funeral service was attended by the speaker of the Cross River state House of Assembly, former Speakers of the Cross River state House Of Assembly, past and presently serving legislative officers, members of the National and State Executive Councils, Local Government Chairmen, Cross River State Chairman of NYCN, PdP chapters and ward Chairmen, PDP members across the state, religious and social groups, friends and the people of Abi who all gathered to mourn with the family of late Mr. Emmanuel Adaka Bassey.

Late Mr.Emmanuel Adaka, who is the father of Comr. Victor Bassey, the PDP chapter Chairman of Abi Local Government Area was Lordly laid to rest in grandeur and lionize, as his funeral service turned into a funfair that fascinated the guests and people of Abi L.G.A to glee, and refreshed the people with the awesome memories of late Mr. Emmanuel Adaka who has been refered to as a leader who had passionately contributed to individuals and community development and as such, his death is a deprivation of an absolute sincere and perfect personality to the people of Abi Local Government area, as Mr. Emmanuel Adaka maintained a high level of etiquette untill he bowed out of the surface of the earth.

The children of the deceased described their father to be an image maker whose priorities were the welfare of his children and community building from his meager resources and his sterling upbringing and immense investment in their lives have taken them far to the peak of success in their different careers.

The Children cried out that their father, papa Emmanuel Adaka whose vacuum is irreplaceable in their lives will be excruciatingly missed by them as they all wished him farewell to eternity.

The funeral service Ended with the lowering of Late. Mr. Emmanuel Adaka's body to mother earth with payer sessions and rendering of songs from the Redemption Life Church.
