Ward Councillor In Yakurr L.G.A Rebuff Pressure Of Defection From PDP To APC.

 The councillor representing Ajere council ward of Ekori in Yakurr Local Government Area, Hon. James Omini has outrightly rebuffed all forms of convictions and coarse from his colleagues and political allies who are now members of the All progressives Congress and want him to defect from the People's Democratic party to join them in the all progressives Congress.

In his words Hon. James Omini uttered that every democratic system gives room for choice of political party membership to both the elected officers and appointees of Government, as they all retain the prerogative to register their membership with any political party of their choice and still function well in their offices by affecting the people with good Governance.

He further said that, he is so much in love with his people who are comfortable with the People's Democratic Party and have given him their mandate by voting him into office as councillor to represent/serve them at the local Government council and as such does not take the interest and welfare of his people for granted, reiterating that he is accountable to the people of Ajere Council ward and what ever decision he makes contrary to the wishes of his people will be perilous to his integrity and misdemeanor to the people of Ajere who preferably and confidently entrusted their hopes for quality representation on him by voting and celebrating him as their councillor under the platform of the People's Democratic party which is exceedingly cherished by his people and has remained in pristine in Ajere Council Ward.

The Honourable Councillor called on his colleagues and political allies not to allow the differ in political party membership subvert their good working relationship or impede their legislative duties, as he is fain to work with every body irrespective of party affiliation to ensure that he renders optimum representation and Democratic yields to his People.

Hon. James Omini concluded with saying that he is an ardent member of the People's Democratic Party and his allegiance to the party is ebullient, stating defecting to the All progressives Congress is estrange to him and the People of Ajere Council Ward who PDP  have been solicitude to in the past years as his people are indissoluble with their membership in PDP, as PDP is sturdy in Ajere and remains the only Accepted and celebrated political party in their ward as the People's Democratic party is and remains indelible in AJERE COUNCIL WARD OF EKORI.
